Do you ever wonder if you’re surrounding yourself with the right people?

In this post I’m talking about who you choose to hang out with, and the effect that that can have on your energetic vibration, and also the effect that that can have on the types of clients who are attracted to you. As Jim Rohn said, “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with”. Think about that with your tribe, extend that a little to your tribe, or the various tribes you hang out in.

How this influences your clients is that if you are the average of the people you’re hanging out with – and that’s actually at a vibrational frequency that’s possibly different to where you’re operating. Maybe it’s a vibration of where you’ve been operating, but you’ve shifted from that, however many of the people are still in that same vibration. Now, you’re going to take that on and energetically, that is what you’ll be putting out there, which means you will not be attracting in the clients who are your ideal clients, who are the ones you really want to work with right now. Whereas if you’re surrounding yourself with tribes who feel as though vibrationally they’re matching you, or even maybe at a vibration that you are working towards, and you’re like, ‘that’s where I want to be operating’ – which is encouraging you to step up – that is going to shift the vibration you’re putting out to the world, which is actually going to shift the types of clients who are attracted to you because they’re reading your energy. So you can see why it is so important to be surrounding yourself with the right tribes for you right now. 

So what are three things you can do?

1. Look at the Facebook groups you’re hanging out in

Have a look at your Facebook groups – all of them. There might be some you’re a member of and not hanging out in because they may not feel a vibrational match. Get rid of them. Just get out of them if you really don’t want to be a member. 

Now, those that you are showing up in, those that you are hanging out with, how does it feel for you? Do you love being there? Are you inspired by being there? If you are, and you really want to engage and be a part of it, then great, that is the right tribe for you right now. But remember, you will shift and change, and there might come a time when it doesn’t feel like it’s supporting you anymore. Although emotionally it can be hard to leave these spaces, if they are not supporting you energetically, I highly recommend that you leave, and find a space that is supporting you and where you’re at right now.

2. Unsubscribe

Same thing for emails. If you’ve been on someone’s email list and you’ve loved receiving their emails, but now you’re noticing you’re not reading them so much anymore, and that there’s an energetic mismatch there, it’s because there is. It’s because your vibration has shifted, possibly that person’s vibration has shifted, and you’re just not on the same wavelength anymore. It’s not good or bad, it just is – we are always evolving. Unsubscribe – that tribe is not right for you anymore, but there’ll be a tribe that is right for you right now.

3. Invest in a tribe

Don’t be afraid to invest in a tribe that will support you. That might mean that you join a course or a membership because very often they have their own personal Facebook groups as well as calls, and you get to surround yourself in the energy of that tribe. That can be so amazing for really helping you maintain your vibration, but also shift your vibration and step up a little and move more into who you want to be. Very often if you are really drawn to a paid program or a paid membership, it is because it is the right energy for you at that time. So be willing to invest in finding the right tribe as well.
